Marquinho Brasil Originally from Rio de Janeiro and now living in the SF Bay Area, Marquinho is well know in the music scene and has played with Flora Purim, Martinho da Vila, and Joao Nogueira. Marquinho has also been associated with a very popular Brazilian group, Batucaje and received crital acclaim as a soloist and member of the popular Brazilian-American group "Terra Sul."
